What your ecommerce conference choices say about you š§
Ecommerce conference season is back, which means it is time to decide. Are you the studious type, the escape artist, or just looking for a good time?
After all these years, I still love ecommerce conferences. These days, Iām more about corridor chats than keynote deep dives. I skip the after-parties. I dodge the swag bait. But theyāre still the best places to catch up and learn from the best.
If youāre still deciding on your conference poison for 2025, hereās my pick of the 2025 ecom conference optionsā¦ and what your choice says about you.
eTail - 25-26 Feb (MEL)
You are serious. Thereās no time for parties or frivolous networking activities. Youāre here for the keynotes and the panels. And the free Moleskine notepad.
Mumbrella Retail Marketing Summit - 19th March (SYD)
The place to swap long-term customer engagement strategiesā¦ and admire each otherās statement glasses.
iMedia - 30 April - 2 May (GC)
You know why youāre here. They know you know why youāre here. You face up to the speed dates, knowing it is worth a round of golf, wine tasting and a peaceful hotel room away from the kids.
Retail Fest - 28-30 May (GC)
It is crucial that you go to the Gold Coast to āunpack the learningsā and ānetwork with professionals.ā I see you in your boardshorts drinking frozen margaritas at The Loose Moose.
NRF Singapore - 3-5 June (SG)
Because youāve already embarrassed yourself at all the Australian conferences. But now youāve grown up and are a serious retailer person.
Online Retail - 23-24 July (SYD)
The big show, the best of the best, the institution. You will spend your days meeting interesting people and learning from the bestā¦ only to forget it all at the ORIAs.
At least they know to leave retailers the f-alone as we move into peak. Iām keen to learn more about you. What ecommerce conferences are you hitting in 2025? Any I missed? Reply and let me knowāI promise I wonāt judge (much).
Cheers
